Enfield No.2 Mk I Break open British revolver from World War II, the No.2 Mk I is often referred to as the “Tanker”. Supposedly it was designed with a bobbed or spur-less hammer to prevent snags when drawing from the holster or exiting a tank, per request of tank crews. The No.2 Mk I was issued to normal troops as well, but the Tanker name stuck. (GRH)
